SCB Media Permission Release

The SCB Media Permission Release policy is an agreement between you and the SCB Parish. Any person connected to the creation, maintenance and implementation of this website, is not liable in any way regarding this media agreement.

General Terms

The inclusion of photos and videos of parishioners, volunteers, event registrants and events, on the SCB websites, blog, and SCB related social media websites such as Facebook, is a privilege. By ticking the 'Media Permission Release' form field on this website's registration page to 'Yes' upon website registration, you authorize SCB to apply the following photo and media policies to all members, including minor children, that are listed on your Signup SCB website account.

Photographs And Videos

The responsible directors and administrators of all current and previous events listed on this website are authorized to take photographs and videos of events, event volunteers, and event registrants that have granted permission as outlined above. They, and all SCB staff, are authorized to use such photographs and videos as outlined below.

Such photos and videos must not present any person in an embarrassing, objectionable or offensive way.

The responsible directors and administrators of all current and previous events listed on this website, who wish to post media online, must comply with the Children's Online Privacy And Protection Act.

Photograph And Video Ownership

Photographs and videos taken by responsible directors and administrators, as outlined above, become and remain the property of SCB Parish.

Media that is posted on the websites listed below are the property of SCB Parish, or have been used with permission of the owner. Such media may not be downloaded, printed, distributed or linked without permission of SCB Parish.

Online Photograph And Video Policy

Responsible directors and administrators of all current and previous events listed on this website may use photographs and videos with the following guidelines:

1. When posted online to the websites listed below, photos and videos may not be altered in any way from the original. This includes cropping, editing, or use of any photo/video enhancement software.

2. No identifying information such as names, address, family members, phone numbers, email addresses, location where media was recorded, dates or times may be used. This includes captions or descriptions within the immediate vicinity of the media, and any printed identifying material within the posted media itself.

3. Photos and videos may be posted on the SCB Parish or School website, and their related social media website(s).

4. Only photographs and videos taken by responsible event directors and administrators or SCB staff, as outlined above, may be used.

Online Media Removal Policy

Upon request, SCB Parish will remove from all of it's websites, any photograph or video that contains an image of you or any of the members listed on your website account.

Printed Photo Policy

SCB Parish, and/or responsible directors and administrators may use photographs obtained as outlined above, in various print media such as brochures, bulletins, flyers, etc., in the following way.

Before media is printed and distributed, all subjects within photos and videos that are to be used, must be contacted for express permission to use their image. If permission is granted, subjects have no recourse to have their image removed from the printed media.
